Finally ! I am starting my home business blog. Guess my first blog is in Blogger.com where I wrote about my trips to Japan and my life working as an Expatriate in Shanghai, China. After months reading other people’s home-business blog, I want to make sure I don’t fall back behind others.

Well, I am an Interior Designer. I worked in Singapore for years and now I have relocated to Shanghai, China. A lot of people asked me why China… My answer is China is booming ! Entrepreneurs flock to China from all over the world. Thousands of hotels will be built for Beijing Olympic 2008. Therefore, they need more foreign Architects, Landscape Designers and Interior Designers. I want to have more exposure and more International experience.

I work 70 hours a week. No holidays. No life. It is common to work overnight in the office. I haven been thinking how good if I can travel around the world knowing that my job will continue generating income for me! So I started to surf online for home based business. The first question that most people ask is: what am I going to sell ? what sort of business should I set up? This is exactly the same question I ask in early 2004 when I was trying to figure out how to start an online business. I have been searching for months.

My dream is to work at home full time, never set an alarm clock, saying goodbye to that terrible boss, troublesome clients and contractors. Imagine having a cup of cappuccino in Starbucks, a bit of reading and writing, surf online, going to gym, dinner with family…going for a vacation… No worries and daily stress, that’’s what i dream for.
